Crossroads Volunteer Fire Department is locate at the intersection of Dry Grove and Tank Roads (Dabney Crossroads). It is seven miles west of Terry, MS in Hinds County. It is a rural unmanned station with a Rescue Pumper, City Pumper, Tanker, Brush Truck, Chief's Pickup, and a reserve Rescue ( former Ambluance). The department serves a large rural area roughly bound by Midway Road on the East, Hy 27 to the south, Hy 18 to the West and Parsons Road to the North. The majority of calls are medical followed by vehicle accidents, brush/timber fires, and structures. Several members are Paramedics and EMTs. Mutual aid is with Terry, Raymond, Byram, Utica, Learned, and Crystal Springs.
